2020 Pledging Round for Open Access

Ugarit-publishing house is pleased to announce the inclusion of several of its titles in the new 2020 pledging round of Knowledge Unlatched.

“For us at Ugarit-publishing house, Open Access is an important part of our commitment towards the academic community”, says Prof. Dr. Thomas Kämmerer, CEO. “We have committed several titles to this year's pledging round, and we hope for broad support from the global library community.”

“Open Access only works if it is sustainable in the long term,” says Dr. Sven Fund, Managing Director at Knowledge Unlatched. “Together with our publishing partners such as Ugarit-publishing house, our mission remains to make the transformation to Open Access as easy and smooth as possible.”

Thanks to Knowledge Unlatched’s initiatives more than 1,700 books and 40 journals have already been published Open Access with the financial support of more than 600 libraries in 36 countries.
